About us
Neuma is issued from a 3-years research project (2009-2011) funded by
the French Agence Nationale de la Recherche as part of the Contenu
et interactions (CONTINT) call for project. The initial partnership
involved the Institut de Recherche sur le Patrimoine Musical Français (IRPMF), the faculty of Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers, the LE2I Computer Science lab., Univ. Bourgogne, Dijon, France, and the Patrimoines et Langages Musicaux Musicology laboratory, Univ. Paris IV Sorbonne, Paris, France.
NEUMA is now developed and maintained through a joint effort of both
the IReMus institue, a Musicology lab., co-founded by
the CNRS and the Bibiothèque Nationale de France, and the CNAM/CEDRIC lab.
